Serenity Caregiver Skills Program

     The caregiver program is designed to empower family caregivers with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to provide safe, compassionate care at home. 

     This is not a certified AHCA course nor a skilled nursing course. 

     Guided by a registered nurse operating within Florida's legal scope of practice. Each module blends education, live demonstration, hands on practice, and guided reflection to build caregiver competence and peace of mind.  You will also receive handouts to keep with you at home with each skill you choose to learn.

Scope of Practice Notice:

This program provides education, coaching, and return demonstration by a Florida licensed Registered Nurse. All content is limited to non-skilled caregiving tasks that unlicensed family members may legally perform in the home setting.

*** This program does NOT train caregivers to perform skilled nursing procedures : Florida Nurse Practice Act, Chapter 464, Florida Statutes.

Each module can take up to between 60-90 minutes each, depending on the person taking the class.  Below is a table of some examples that I have taught previously.  If you are looking for something different, we can always discuss to see what/how it can be taught.

 Every training is taught in the comfort of your own home to ensure personalization and real life trainings with your loved one.  Learning includes lecture, discussion, hands on training, and printed materials. 

This allows you to learn, understand, and have practice with each activity.  You will understand what your loved one is going through, feel more confident helping them, and protect your own well being.

We will have a conversation about whom you are taking care of, what challenges you face as the caregiver, how you learn, and what schedule works best for you.
